27th Sep 2026: Caspian Gull

On the 14th Clive found a Spotted Flycatcher at the water treatment works and had a good passage of Swallows through and on the 15th also had the same or possibly another Spotted Flycatcher along the river near the wood. 

Sunday 20th we had a Stonechat in the cattle field and our first Caspian Gull of the year up at the Borrow Pit pool. 

On the 25th Clive had a Little Egret over. We've started getting Meadow Pipits and Skylarks going over and on yesterday evening 3 Yellow Wagtails also went over while I was up the valley.
