13th Sep 2026

The Ringed Plover remained into this week, staying until Tuesday and not seen again after then. 

Wednesday morning Clive had a few notable sightings with 2 Great White Egrets over south, a Whinchat and then another Great White Egret south. 

Generally the rest of the week was fairly quiet but 5 Jays flying over this morning was unusual. There has also been small numbers of Swift still and today it was really apparent the number of Chiffchaffs around with easily 20+.
