15th Feb 2025: Curlew

The standout highlight for the last couple of weeks was Curlew seen Monday (9th) by Mark Ribbons in one of the flooded fields up the valley, along with some Teal, Wigeon and Shoveler. The flood water had receded by Friday and no ducks or waders or anything else of note were present.

Also notable on the 8th was a group of 13 Siskin that flew over the reservoir.
