A very windy day today has been pushing birds inland from the coast. John had a Common Gull at lunch time and this evening we saw another six fly through south. The birds this evening were five adults and a second calender year. There was also a juvenile gull that we pondered over for a little while but both said we think it was a Herring Gull.
